G1 Ponies are now almost 30 - 40 years old (2022), which means the hair may have been faded, becoming dull or yellowed.
Known colors that may "change" over time:
- Blue tends to yellow and becomes a cerulean blue tone with greenish hints or can fade too
- Fading pink very often fades into very light pink or even white
- it can happen that white yellows into an ivory color
- it's known that the dark pink as well as neon orange can fade as well
This guide can in no way be considered as 100% correct.

The colors were evaulated with the help of various collector's ponies in their current conditions.
